this is gonna be quite a long one. =x
today school was borin as usual! z. *tryin to absorb all the info into my head. did i mention that i loveeEee econs lecture. (: *shut up jan! =p
ehh. i feel quite bad la. cos i skipped chinese and GP in order to go view the SYF competition. has. i admit that i'm slightly unwell la. but seein the care and concern that the teachers were showin, i felt touched. they told me to go rest well. *cos i actually looked rather sick to them! lols. good fakin skills.
after that i ran down *or rather walked sickly* to the general office to meet socks. we took a cab and rushed down all the way to singapore conference hall to watch them perform! yea. luckily for us we managed to get tics from SAF band members. the moment we stepped into the hall, dunmanband appeared! yay!!! wooo. (:
they played up to expectations la! hahas.. yea. though got one part a lil screwed up. but nvm that. cos they still made it in the end! i have to give credits to hai sing la. though they didnt get gold with honours *and they were targettin that.. to me, it was fantastic! i think that it was even better than hwa chong *high institution who played later after them. listenin to east spring, i recalled the days we were in band camp. the exact same way we sounded when we played at ngee ann 2 years ago. the tears that flowed from our very eyes.. that wake up call which caused us to buck up. the end result. u should know. 2 years ago.
the wait for the results was very testin la! we were impatiently waitin while recievin smses from various concerned people. hahas.. then band after band.. it goes like this. Band number 101 - Singapore Chinese Girls' School. GOLD. hahaha. yea. happy for them too. cos they were screamin for a really long time and everyone was like starin at them tellin them to tone down cos WE wanna know our results too! ours was the 8th band ? so blah blah *fast forward.* Band number 112 - Dunman Secondary. *

.* G-G-GOLD! and den. silence. we were like omg! yes!!! the first thing that came to mind was ms chong! the long awaited gold award. she was finally given the supposed recognition.! yes! yess!! yessss!! then went around congratin every single one of the band members. yea. of cos there were tears. *thinkin back 2 years ago. the reasons for the outburst of tears. were so different. hais. okays. dunmanband did it!!! haha.. happy for them! when we returned to school the lights were all on, a celebration was about to take place. unlike 2 years ago when everywhere was dark and gloomy. includin our hearts. has.. (: anyways, we had a buffet! yay. and then i had to come home to study. but what am i doin now ? updating! yea. u're so smart. wan a cookie ? haha..
just a few last words.
treasure this. for u will only strike gold for the first time once. cos dunmanband is gonna maintain a gold/with honours band standard!!! *forever!
PS. to rach : heys gurl. hope u're doin alright. and that the problem is settled already. hmms. have a good talk with ur family and make sure that he knows that he was wrong in doin that.. (:
to steph : sorry lehs. brought home ur GP tutorial.. think u must be quite pissed off rite. ): for punishment i'll finish the whole tutorial by tonight.
